The first step to success in any field is to take responsibility for your action which at the same time, it’s the most difficult one.
I’ll try to write this as a series of articles to help you in your way to success. But of course, what is success? Is it to travel anytime I pleased? to live where ever I want to? to drive the car I want to?
I believe success is whatever you want it to be. If you plan a goal and you achieve it, you succeed in your task to get there. Of course, success in life is more complicated and that’s why I’m letting that decision to yourself.
If you need to refresh or don’t know how to plan a goal, please read our review of this wonderful GOAL PLANNER.
Any thing you decide success to be, the first step to get it is taking responsibility for your actions, be aware of them and assume you 100% quota of the result.
Take Responsibility For Your Actions
If you want to go from where you are now to where you want to be, you have to be aware of your actions and that the result of them are your whole responsibility.
We often believe we don’t have enough “something”. I mean we don’t have enough money, success, joy, travels, friends, romance, in our lives.
What we need to be 100% clear is that we are all capable of greatness, it exists in all of us. It’s just about believing and using all that power within us to pull that out and using it in our journey to whatever we are looking for.
If you talk to someone you defined as a successful person (in personal life or in business) you will realized they don’t look for excuses. They take 100% responsibility of their lives and their decisions and their actions.
They are responsible for achieving their own success, the lifestyle, financial freedom and to take advantage of the opportunities they experience in their lives.
No one said it would be easy
It’s not as simple as you thing. It’s easier to blame someone else, a co-worker, the government, your wife/husband, your “particular” situation than said: “It’s my fault”.
But after that “It’s my fault” moment, it comes an empowering one: “Like this is my fault, I’m going to change it”. You have to realized you are the only one capable of changing your actual situation.
People responds different to the events that occur in life and that is what has to be changed. There is an old formula that claims that after an Event comes a Response and the result is the Outcome you chose.
You may be cannot do anything about the Event that occurs to you in your life but you are having a Response, which definitely change the Outcome.
The Outcome depends only of your Response to the Event if you want to analyze it the other way.
You can change the Outcome in your life and get better ones simply by responding differently to challenges that occur.
So the next time something happens in your life, it doesn’t matter if it is good or bad, take responsibility for your actions, your response and you will see a better outcome.
