Here you are three online courses on money that can help you to get rich or at least start to increment you financial knowledge.
Continuos learning is important in your life, there is no doubt about it. It is always important to study and learn new skills. Sometimes in your life, you will use that knowledge to your advantage.
Education is always a secure investment. What you learn, nobody can take it away from you. Based on this, I will give you three places where you can take some online courses on money.
Online Courses On Money
The first place you should visit is Coursera. You can register there and some courses should be paid and some are free. By the time I wrote this article, I recommend you this one for free:
Introduction to Financial Accounting.
by, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School
In this course, you will learn how to read the three most common financial statements: Income, Balance Sheets and Cash-flow.
Why is this topic important, this is the objective of the course, after you read it, I’m pretty sure you will agree with me on this important topic:
Accounting is the language of business. Learning this language is essential for anyone who must make decisions based on financial information.
Is this course for anyone? yes, it is recommended for students with little or no prior background in financial accounting who want to improve their financial literacy.
Build a productive relationship with your money.
Personal & Family Financial Planning
by, University of Florida
This is also given at Coursera and is basically to get a head start on planning for your family’s future.
This is activity-based with emphasis on your life as the basis for your work. In addition, you will learn how to apply the principles you learn in a family environment. We will learn about cash, credit, wealth, and risk management as well as the environmental effects on personal and family financial management. Students will earn badges for completing various modules and demonstrating certain skills.
This class covers everything that you need to know in order to create a financial plan for your family.
There are some topics it covers, they teach you to read financial statements and explains how to create a budget (in one of our oldest post you can also find a video and online tools on how to create a budget: 25 MONEY SAVING IDEAS).
After they cover these topics, they move on to the basics of income tax, credit, risk management, and investing.
Love Your Money
by, University of Tennessee and FINRA
This is another free course and it is focused if you want to make better decisions about managing your money but don’t know where to start.
It is structured in modules, some of them are Measuring Financial Health, Tracking Your Money or The Importance of An Emergency Fund, also it is about credit cards and debt. There is some information about 401(k), for those who are not from United States, 401(k) is a pension fund you can use after you retire but you can use some information on the country of your own.
I hope you like these Online Courses On Money (I know I did!) and they help you to increase your success in the real world.
